In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome transformations echo through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret group.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
