To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Combine all the items inside a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the stove allowing it to cool fully. Decant into an clean bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for around a month.

To make Cocktail Base: Combine all the spirits and syrup in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.

For serving: Add 85ml of the batch mix into your stirring glass filled with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds until cold. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, decorate with the cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
